Pinoy foods in Texas August 20, 2008
As a pinoy living in the states, I really am craving for pinoy foods, especially my father’s recipe of humba, lechon kawali, chopsuey, and sarciado. If you can’t taste these foods for a while, you will surely miss them, just like me.
American foods are usually dry, no sauces unless you make a separate one. Unlike with most of our dishes, there are some sauce that we can put on our rice for it to taste better. Yum yum! I really miss it. (more…)
Homemade Strawberry Jam and Grape Jelly August 17, 2008
Yesterday me and Yvonne went to her parents house to help make strawberry jam and grape jelly. It was my first time doing so and I was very excited.

I just had my 24th birthday last August 11, 2008 and it was my first birthday here in Texas. Last year, I remember during my birthday that I wished to celebrate my birthday with Andy and this year it came true. Schlitterbahn Fun August 11, 2008
Yesterday, we had our summer escapade at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels together with my in-laws, Mom and Yvonne.
Schlitterbahn is the most famous waterpark here in Texas because of it has lots of rides: tube chute and body slides, and it runs a natural river water coming from Congo River. (more…)

Jone’s Supreme August 8, 2008
