Root beer float is just a root beer soda topped with vanilla ice cream. Andy said that for high school kids, they consider it a date for young couples to have one root beer float and share it together. So, last night, we have our root beer float date. (more…)
Honeymoon July 24, 2008
Right after the wedding, we went straight ahead to San Antonio, Texas for our honeymoon for 3 nights. We both had such great time in San Antonio, not just in the hotel time (LOL), but times beyond that.
The Wedding Day July 21, 2008
July 20, 2008 at 3pm, finally is the day that me and Andy had always been waiting for, our wedding day.
It was a fine sunny day, usual day here in Texas. I got out from the house early morning to at least follow the tradition that the bride and groom would not see each other on the day of their wedding until the wedding ceremony. Day before the wedding July 19, 2008
This is it! One more day to go and it would be our wedding day. Now I know how it feels to be wed, most especially when you know that you’re be marrying to a man that you always wanted to have in your entire life. Wedding Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner July 17, 2008
Finally, we are home and 3 days from now will be the BIG DAY, our wedding day. I am glad that the people that we expected to be on the rehearsal was there and everyone did great during the rehearsal for the wedding. Honestly, I was tense. I don’t know why. Maybe because I am the one getting married. But I don’t think they notice that coz I was joking around the whole time of the rehearsal, like when being asked if I will take Andrew etc. etc. etc., I said “Do I have a choice?”, so everyone laugh then. Abi’s a big boy now July 14, 2008
It is really hard to put Abi to sleep. Back in the Philippines, he is used to having someone beside him when he sleeps, my parents which would be his grandparents are beside him every night. Now, since we live in the US, they don’t let their children sleep with them in the same bed or even in the same room. Since we know that it would be hard for Abi to put him in a separate room, we just had a crib for him. We used a crib coz since he is not used to sleeping himself, he may roll over and fall off from the bed. (more…)

Earlier today, my friends from the Church organized a Bridal Shower for me coz as you have read my post, I am getting married a week from now. Abi bonds with Daddy July 9, 2008
Andy works almost 12 hours a day and Sunday is his only day off. He needs to work hard for our family and I still can’t have a job until I can have my Social Security Number and Employment Authorization Documents, which I am planning to apply after the wedding. During Sundays, we normally go to Andy’s parents house to visit them, but last Sunday, Andy’s parents were out to their ranch, out of town, so we just stayed at home and let Andy sleep. But Andy promised Abi last week that he’ll join Abi swimming on his swimming pool that Andy’s Mom and sister gave Abi as one of the welcome gifts to us. As promised, he and Abi swam on Abi’s tiny pool last Sunday afternoon. I let them bond and I was enjoying myself taking pictures of them. (more…)
July 4th Celebration July 5, 2008
For those who doesn’t know yet, July 4th is USA’s Independence Day. Though I am not an american, and very proud to be a Filipino, but I’ll be marrying an american guy soon and I am living at his country now and celebrating Independence Day is already a part of their lives eversince, so that’s why I am celebrated it with him yesterday.
