My First Burn June 30, 2008

This is not as funny as how the title looks like, it hurts. Finally, after 2 weeks living here, I had my first burn.

Busy for the wedding June 26, 2008

I have been real busy these past few days preparing for our wedding coz it is already less than 3 weeks from now. But good thing that I have done most of the major things that we need, the bridal gown and accessories , reception, reservations of everything, marriage license, and invitations. Though there are lots of things that we still need to do now.

Had a gown June 23, 2008

It makes me more excited now that I finally had my bridal gown. Well, not physically with me but I already chosen, fitted, and purchased one from David’s Bridal in Austin, TX.

Our Pre-Monthsary June 23, 2008

Is this the first time you heard or seen this word, PRE-MONTHSARY? hehe. It is from Andy’s own vocabulary.

We just celebrated our 1st Wedding Pre-Monthsary (of course, there would be no 2nd pre-monthsary) last Friday, June 20 08.

Got a rice cooker June 23, 2008

Got a blessing last June 19, 2008 from a fellow brethren in the Church, sister Shirley. She gave me a rice cooker and a sack of rice. Isn’t that nice? She surprised me with it on one of the service in the church. She said that she saw her spare rice cooker and I came into her mind coz the first time that we met she asked me if what foods do I miss from the Philippines, I said rice coz eversince I came here, I hadn’t eaten rice until I got the rice cooker and rice from Sis Shirley.

Meeting lots of Filipinos here June 19, 2008

I thought I am gonna be very lonely here coz I may feel like that I am different from everyone here but I was wrong, I met lots of friendly Filipinos here. It feels great coz they would make you feel that you’re not alone and the good thing about it is they are giving you assurance that they’re always there whenever I needed help.

First times June 19, 2008

Being in a totally new different place, it is normal to have lots first time and I have bunches of them here. There are just simple things that I didn’t experiences before.

Some Adjustments June 19, 2008

The hardest part of being in a totally new different place is the adjustments that we need in order to fit into where we are now. So far, I have adjusted already though not fully yet coz there are still so many things that I need to experience here but just didn’t had the chance to do so yet.

Andy was a little bit sick June 19, 2008

Yesterday, Andy got off from work very earlier coz he didn’t feel well. He called me at the usual time, around 3pm and I thought he’s just checking me out, but he said that he’s on his way home he felt dizzy and felt like throwing out. I got worried coz I know that it must be his diabetes but I can’t think of anything that must’ve cause it coz we ate the usual foods that he eats.

One week here now June 18, 2008

I have been here for a week already and so far so good. hehe.

Had lots of things learned, most especially using the appliances at home where we don’t usually have before back in the Philippines. Though I have problems remembering some instructions coz of my memory problem (hehe).
