My Life in US at 7 Months January 26, 2009

It’s hard to believe that I’m here in the US for 7 months now, it’s even harder to believe that I’m finally here, at least for me. It wasn’t an easy process to come here in the US, everyone knows that, but I consider myself as one of those lucky people who had the chance to step on the land of opportunity. Being here is not as easy as everyone thought it would be, but generally, I am happy being here cos finally I’ve found the love of my life who’s actually the one who brought me (us–with my son) here.

If you are wondering how’s my life here now in 7 months, well aside from I am happy being with my love, I can tell you more specific things I am up to during my whole stay here.

Our Trip To My In-Laws Ranch January 14, 2009

We just got back yesterday from our 4-day trip to my in-laws ranch.

It was a lot of fun there. I always love being in the outdoors so I really enjoyed the time being there, plus, I was able to spend more time with my in-laws and get to know each other more. Though we always visit them every Sunday, but that time is less than enough for them to spend with Abi, whom they consider as their own true blood, even though it’s not.

I feel really bad for not updating this blog as much as I wanted to. I can’t even believe how I’d manage to get more blogs when I can’t update them all regularly. I know, my bad. But trust me, I’ve been doing all my best to keep my blogs updated.

I may don’t have updates here regularly but for sure my other blogs have (are).

Life as a blogger November 2, 2008

I am so happy with my life right now, as a wife, a mother, and of course, a serious blogger.

First of all, I now have couple of blogs and trying hard to update them regularly. Aside from this blog, I still have my oldest blog, Beauty of Life which has gained PR2 on the month of October. It was such a blessing because I was able to make more money with it.

Abi’s 2-years old November 2, 2008

This post is so late now coz my son turned 2 years old last September 24 but I got really busy and wasn’t able to update this blog. I also have another blog that I made for my son, Starts at Two. I created it on the exact day of his 2nd birthday, that is why it is titled Starts at Two. And it was one of reasons why I wasn’t able to update this blog.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) November 2, 2008

At 2:00am today, DST started. We are now 14 hours behind from the Philippines. I felt weird about it coz we are an hour behind than what our usual time is. Though our clocks are adjusted to DST time but I still feeling kinda weird about it. Anyway, there’s a good news though coz we get to sleep an extra hour. hehe.

It’s been a while since I last posted on this blog. I felt really bad about it coz this blog is supposed to be my online journal for my new life here in the US. But I have been busy. Or maybe just feeling busy. I don’t know. I just can’t get a time to write a post here. But anyway, here it is. A post after a few months.

Belated Birthday Gift From Mom August 24, 2008

My birthday was already two weeks ago but Mom gave me a very nice gift today. It was not a surprised coz she already told me last Sunday that she is supposed to give me a gift but she was not able to wrap it yet coz she got very busy babysitting her other grandchildren.

Peanut Butter Cookies For Andy August 23, 2008

Andy keeps asking me to make him his favorites cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies. It has been a while since he hadn’t had one eversince he found out that he has diabetes. Now, he wanted me to try making it using Splenda, artificial sugar.

Craving for Leche Flan August 21, 2008

I have been craving for leche flan so much but I don’t think I can make it since I don’t want to eat anything that Andy can’t it. If I would make something like it, I should used just a sweetener to substitute so that Andy can eat it too.
